.30-06. 24" barrel. SN: 3175076. Parkerized arsenal refinish with walnut straight wrist stock, stamped trigger plate, and mounting adjustable ladder rear notch and hooded front blade sight. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips. Receiver is marked U.S/REMINGTON/MODEL 1903. Barrel mark reads {RA/Ordnance Bomb/1-42}, indicating it was completed in January, 1942. Barrel bands and bolt with R for Remington stamp. A weak circle P remains visible on the wrist, with the stock having been aggressively sanded and refinished. {C&R}

Good as Arsenal Refinished. Bore is dirty with firing residue throughout that may clean to Very Bright or better with sharp rifling. Metal finish shows some brown mottling at muzzle, light pitting on crown, and scattered spots of brown patina forming on fittings. Bolt with gray to brown patina forming in losses from cycling wear. Stock has been aggressively sanded with metal fitting proud of wood, scattered light handling dents, and two screw holes in left stock.
