Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips mounting simplified fixed rear notch and hooded front blade sights. Top of the receiver is marked with swp45 mark, indicating it was made by Waffenwerke Bruenn in 1945, with Mod.98 stamped on the top of the receiver, rather than the left. Item shows {Reichsadler} view marks on left barrel and receiver with two {Eagle/63} waffenamt stamps on right receiver. Rear barrel with {dot/11} Steyr barrel maker marking followed by 45/ date marking. Serial numbers mixed. Importer mark to right muzzle reads K98 8MM GERMANY/CAI GEORGIA VT. {C&R}

Good. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish is strongest on receiver and thin at the muzzle with spot of oxidation on the rear sight, scattered brown streaks and flecking, and some scratches overall. Item displays internal cycling wear. Stock exhibits some handling wear and dents overall.
