Maker markings include PTR44 model mark on left upper receiver and MADE IN GERMANY BY SSD for PTR-91 Inc. Farmington CT/USA. Item shows reproduction {WaA21} waffenamt on left lower, cos factory code and SSD logos on base of upper receiver, and {Eagle/214} on reproduction scope mount. Scope is marked GW ZF 4 dow {Triangle} with a serial number of 30974. Caliber marking lightly struck below barrel. Lacks magazine. Comes with translated manual in stock compartment. A rare and highly faithful reproduction of the original StG44/MP44 rifle produced in a small production run by Sport Systeme Dittrich. It is believed that fewer than 200 of these rifles were imported to the United States before production of the rifles ceased, making them a rare and desirable piece for the modern collector. {FFL}

Very Good Plus. Bore is dirty with some residues that should clean to Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Some pinpoint brown patina on the right side of the upper receiver. Metal finish shows some light scratches. Wood with few light marks. Some grease residue to all internal parts. Scope is canted slightly to the left.
