Wrist shows the serial number mark below a sanded US stamp with {Ordnance Bomb} mark now illegible. Right butt dated 910/1910 with II* model marking over a sanded down original maker stamp. Further marks include 4/12 and 64/325 unit marking. Initials BK to the right of the date mark. Mounts an American 1907 pattern sling. The United States purchased 20,000 Ross Mark II Rifles for training purposes and guard duties, with the deal inked in November, 1917. {C&R}

Good. Bore is Bright with crisp rifling throughout and some patina. Metal retains a thin blue on barrel fading to brown patina elsewhere. Scattered light dings, scratches, and marks. Wood furniture shows handling wear, dents, stains, and signs of sanding. Sling cracking and abraded. Action mechanically functional.
