Blued refinish with bright bolt in walnut straight wrist stock with underfolding spike bayonet, walnut upper handguard, and mounting tangent rear notch and dovetail front blade sights. Simple blowback operated closed-bolt semi-automatic rifle fed by detachable magazines. Maker mark on receiver reads PIETRO BERETTA-GARDONE VALLE TROMPIA-ITALIA-CAL. 9 followed by MADE IN ITALY and BREVETTO1918-1930. Item shows Italian smokeless powder firing proofs to rear barrel flats and rear receiver with a date mark of 1937. Rear slider is a nonmatching replacement. Item is on C&R list, hence why it is not an SBR. {C&R}

Good as Refinished. Bore is Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Some brown patina on bayonet lug. Light pitting on receiver filled in with refinish. Some light scratches on triggerguard and magazine floorplate. Some oxidized spots on the rear barrel flats near stock seams. Stock has some handling wear and dents. Magazine has some grease residues internally with handling scratches and insertion wear. Action functions when cycled by hand.
