Short-recoil operated striker action toggle locked autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Factory marks include DWM maker mark to toggle link and 1918 date on slide. Imperial German {Reichsadler} marks on barrel, right slide, and left breechblock. Right slide shows standard triple Gothic letter inspection stamps. Serial numbers match on most components, but the extractor/loaded chamber indicator is a non-numbered replacement, and grips are not numbered. Detent spring for safety lever is weak. Chip to left edge of the toggle pin. Magazine does not match and features wood base plug and nickel plated body. {C&R}

Good. Bore is Frosty with brown patina throughout, some pitting, and weak rifling. Metal finish dominated by a brown patina with strong blue remaining on slide and on upper frame. Some scattered scratches and nicks. Pitting on the sideplate. Chip to left edge of the toggle pin. Split forming through magazine spring plug. Grips show handling wear overall with checkering worn down in places. Action functions when cycled by hand.
