AJ Foyt (b. 1935) became the first driver to win the Indianapolis 500 four times in 1961, ‘64, ‘67, and ‘77. This feat would inaugurate an exclusive group of racers who have achieved a similar triumph, with a total of 100 drivers accomplishing such a win to date. This framed piece includes a photograph of AJ Foyt after his fourth victory in 1977, and a piece of the speedway itself. While the original brick track was laid down in 1909, this particular framed piece was raced on from 1995 to 2004.
