Original iconic poster for the Art Deco exhibition held at the 1925 International Exhibition of Modern Decorative and Industrial Arts. Printed in red and black, the lithograph features the stylized portrait of a nymph bearing a basket overflowing with flowers and accompanied by a leaping gazelle. 

The 1925 Exposition ran from April 29th until November 8th, extended from its original end in October due to its immense popularity. Attended by over 16 million, the French government designed the Exposition to highlight the new modern style of art, architecture, and design. Robert Bonfils, the artist of this striking work, was one of the organizers of the event. The "modern style" came to be known widely as Art Deco.
