Iron double-edged spearpoint blade with median ridge, iron ferrule, riveted wooden shaft. Blade 9 1/8 in., overall 104 1/4 in.
There is some debate about whether these implements were intended as pikes or whether they were used as flagpoles, as averred by historian Shannon Pritchard (c.f. Collecting the Confederacy, p.124-5). The distinctive cloverleaf finial or blade and the baseball bat-style butt are typical of known Stevens examples.
