A wonderful selection of Civil War-era fabrics nicely mounted by an unknown seamstress or supplier. Originally settled by the English in the 1750s, Yorkville had a population of 1,360 by 1860, the same year South Carolina seceded from the United States. These fabrics offer a glimpse into the daily life of civilians living in the Confederate States during the Civil War.
