.36 caliber. 7.5" octagonal barrel. SN: 174369 (mfg. ca. 1863). Originally blued and color casehardened finish, brass triggerguard and backstab, one-piece smooth grip. Single action percussion revolver with six-chamber unfluted cylinder, hammer nose notch, brass blade front sight. Matching serial numbers on barrel, frame, triggerguard and butt. Cylinder renumbered to match and marked "4369", loading lever and wedge unnumbered. One-line New York "U.S. America" barrel address and two-line Colt's/Patent marking on frame. No cylinder scene present. {ANTIQUE}

Fair to Good. Bore good, moderately oxidized and showing good rifling. Metal with no finish remaining, cleaned with weak markings and a moderately oxidized brownish gray patina. Cylinder with a couple of replaced cones and hammer nose chipped. Mechanically functional action. Grip with moderate wear, some nicks, dings and mars.
