[CIVIL WAR} Remington Beals Navy Revolver

.36 caliber. 7.5" octagonal barrel. SN: 332. Originally blued and color casehardened with no finish remaining, brass triggerguard and two-piece smooth walnut grips. Single action percussion revolver with six-chambered unfluted cylinder, pivoting loading lever, frame notch rear sight and German silver cone front sight. Weak two-line Beals patent barrel marking with the lower line essentially not visible. No inspection markings present. Revolver with some restoration, hammer replaced, mainspring replaced, lever catch replaced and missing the loading lever pivot screw. {ANTIQUE}

Fair to Good. Good bore is moderately oxidized with some scattered light pitting and visible rifling. No finish remaining, metal cleaned with weak markings and a dull pewter patina. Mechanically functional action. Grips with moderate wear, scuffs, dings and mars and some minor chipped loss.
