8x22mm Nambu. 3.78" barrel. SN: 11192. Blued finish with internal parts in the white, straw colored trigger, and checkered black synthetic grips. Short recoil operated internal hammer fired autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Right frame struck with the Showa 15.4 mark, indicating the pistol was manufactured in April of 1940. Below this are the Chuo Kogyo factory marking followed by the Nagoya Arsenal stamp. Standard type and safety markings to left frame. Serial numbers match on all components including the bright finished magazine. Item shows some rough machining in, typical of all Type 94 production, but the generally higher polish consistent with earlier production examples. {C&R}

Good to Very Good. Bore is Bright with Metford pattern rifling throughout. Metal finish shows some gray patina forming on the triggerguard with brown on the gripstraps. Some thinning finish and flecking toward muzzle on slide with high edgewear. Item exhibits old lubricant residues throughout, particularly on internal parts. Gray patina to internals. Nick to the upper edge of the right frame. Some gray mottling on magazine. Mechanically functional when cycled by hand.
