6.5x50mmSR. 31.4" barrel. SN: 1382279. Blued metal finish with polished bolt in Asian hardwood semi-pistol grip stock with factory spliced toe and half-length upper handguard. Bolt action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips featuring cock-on-close action. Sights consist of an adjustable ladder rear notch and barleycorn front blade sights. Item further shows correct S proof stamp to left barrel shank, and Circle Triangle stamps to barrel and receiver. Right butt with white painted Japanese arsenal markings. Serial numbers of the receiver, bolt, and cocking piece match, but the firing pin and extractor numbers do not. Buttplate is missing the lower securing screw. Comes with a rough cleaning rod.  Bayonet lug and retaining spring do not fit flush in stock. {C&R}

Good. Bore is dirty with some dust that may clean to Bright or better with crisp Metford pattern rifling throughout. Metal finish shows Brown mottling on stock fittings and interior surfaces. Some scattered brown flecking and streaks to blued parts. Stock has been sanded with metal parts fitting proud. Shows handling wear and dents overall. Missing lower buttplate screw and with bayonet lug and retaining spring not fitting flush. Mechanically functional.
