Blued finish with bright bolt in lacquered Birchwood semi pistol grip stock featuring rail cut receiver and mounting early pattern six-port muzzle brake. Short stroke piston driven tilting bolt semi-automatic rifle fed by detachable magazines. Receiver shows the {Arrow in Triangle} mark indicating it was produced by Izhmash, along with a 1941 production year. Left receiver shows the boxed SA stamp indicating it underwent Finnish repair. Serial numbers are mixed, typical of Finnish used and repaired SVT rifles. Comes with a cleaning rod and a serialized magazine marked in Cyrillic 3/IG282 and shows a further Finnish boxed SA stamp. Comes with a reproduction scope mount but no scope. The receiver has no scope notch, and no sniper proofs, indicating it was not a sniper rifle. {C&R}

Good. Bore is Frosty with some patina throughout and strong rifling. Metal finish retains a thin blue with edgewear, abrasions, and scratches. Finish fading to brown patina on rear receiver and triggerguard. Bolt carrier with mottled gray patina. Stock exhibits handling wear, dents, and scratches. Crack forming through upper handguard extending for 1.5" forward of rear sight. Action functions when cycled by hand.
