A partially ground off East German {Sunburst} is struck into the left side of the rear sight block beside Waffenamt. Serial numbers have been force matched on major parts with the bolt number nonmatching at 4161. Standard Waffenamt codes and {Reicshadler} markings include {Eagle/214} on receiver, bolt carrier, bolt, and firing pin. WWII production magazine is blued with gcb maker code, two {Eagle/WaAB92} waffenamt marks, and an electropenned serial number of 4862. {C&R}

Good as Arsenal Refinished. Bore is Bright with strong rifling throughout. Metal finish with some brown streaks on barrel, light edgewear overall, and some scattered scratches. Wood furniture has been sanded and shows handling wear and dents. Sling with some abrasions. Action functions when cycled by hand.
