Simple blowback operated internal hammer fired autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Upper rear slide is marked on either side of the slide flute reading ESPERANZA Y UNCETA/GUERNICA ESPANA/PISTOLA DE 9 M/M/MODELO 1921. Chamber has been marked 9MM LUGER with a nonmatching serial number. Right frame with SPAIN export marking above serial number. Magazine struck ASTRA on the floorplate. {C&R}

Good. Bore is dirty with some firing residues and patina that may clean to Bright with some wear to rifling. Metal finish shows mottled gray to brown color on internal slide and barrel with thinning blue particularly at muzzle and on dustcover, brown streaking on handling surfaces, and light pitting to the right and left edges of the slide, on the forward dustcover, and on forward upper edges of the slide flute. Some gray to brown patina forming on bright handling surfaces. Grips show some handling wear with checkering worn down. Action functions when cycled by hand.
