Bolt-action internal magazine fed repeating rifle charged with stripper clips. Receiver maker marking reads U.S./MODEL OF 1917/EDDYSTONE with the barrel showing a matching E/{Ordnance Bomb}/12-18 marking, indicating it was completed in December, 1918. Bolt displays a further {Ordnance Bomb} with nonmatching serial number. Further marks include {Ordnance Bomb} to left receiver, E for Eddystone marks on nosecap, sight spring, safety lever, takedown lever, and rear handguard socket. Stock shows {Eaglehead/B} stamp on forend, 1J to wrist, and further {Eaglehead} stamps on safety lever, trigger plate, and left receiver. Comes with reproduction Pattern 1907 sling. {C&R}

Good. Bore is dirty with some blue green jacket oxidation throughout, and steel oxidation at muzzle over strong rifling. Metal finish with deep brown patina at muzzle, mottled brown patina dominating on the barrel with edgewear overall, scratches, and brown patina forming through the blue on all fittings and triggerguard. Sling with some scratches and stains. Action functions when cycled by hand.
