Bolt action detachable magazine fed repeating rifle mounting adjustable ladder rear notch and inverted-V front blade sights. Standard markings include the DESTROYER/TRADE MARK to the receiver and Spanish firing proofs on the receiver and barrel. Importer mark on left receiver reads C.A.I. ST. ALB. VT./MADE IN SPAIN. Firing pin and bolt numbered 123.

Spanish Destroyer carbines were manufactured between 1935 and 1969, seeing use by the Spanish Civil Guard as well as sporting usage owing to its light recoil and ease of handling. During the Vietnam War, a small number of these rifles were fitted with suppressors and recommended for use by elite formations both of the United States military and the ARVN. Most survived in the same form as this rifle, deriving their value from their low weight and ease of shooting. {C&R}

Good. Bore is dirty with some firing residues that may clean to Very Bright with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish has some light edgewear overall with scattered brown flecking. Some spots of gray to brown patina forming on bolt, particularly the bolt handle. Stock with scattered light dents and scratches.
