.45 ACP. 5.5" barrel. SN: NSN. Blued metal finish with straw colored trigger, bright bolt and internals, and mounting an Asian hardwood right grip panel. Cutaway example of a reproduction Shanxi Type 17 pistol. Item is fully cut away on the left side, exposing the internals, nine dummy rounds in magazine, and one dummy in the chamber. Right frame shows the engraved Chinese characters typical of reproduction Shanxi pistols with no other marks visible.

Good to Very Good. Clear coat on bright components of cutaway shows some beading and residues in the coating. Light tarnish on dummy rounds. Some patched brown patina on rear sight slider, and few scattered brown flecks to right side.
