Neues Volk. [New People]. 3 issues. Berlin: Neues Volk Berlin, NSDAP, August 1938 and May & September 1939. 4to. Illustrated throughout. Original wrappers.

Three scarce issues of the antisemitic monthly magazine issued by the Office of Racial Policy (NSDAP) in Nazi Germany. Founded by the head of the Bureau, Walter Gross (1904-1945), in 1933, the magazine was a glossy mass-market affair aimed at a wide audience, achieving a circulation of 300,000 at its peak. The subject matter overtly promoted the NSDAP's policies of racial purity and "Aryan excellence." Articles advocating eugenic sterilization were frequent, with the editors juxtaposing healthy (with predictably "Aryan" features) children with mentally incapacitated children and vicious Jewish caricatures.

[World War II, WWII,  FDR, Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Franklin D. Roosevelt, Dwight D. Eisenhower, Adolf Hitler, Allied, Axis, George S. Patton, Air Force] [Anti-semitism] [Propaganda, Magazines, Ephemera]
