A rare Nazi Party campaign poster issued during the 1932 Bavarian state parliamentary elections held on April 24th.

The state elections were hotly contested, with the Nazi Party aggressively campaigning, building on their success from Hitler's presidential campaign. The Nazi's gained 32.52% of the vote in Bavaria, only 3 hundredths of a percentage point behind the Bavarian People's Party, earning them 43 seats in the Landtag (State Diet).

The poster relies only on typography and text, directly attacking the Bavarian People's Party and accusing them of inaction during their tenure. The poster reads in full (in translation): "What have they achieved? Here's the result: / Unemployment in the agricultural state of Bavaria is no lower than in the largest industrial centers / Collapse of middle-class livelihoods everywhere / Thousands of farms up for auction / Outrageous debt for those on permanent contracts, impoverished by perpetual salary cuts / A deficit of many millions, disguised at the expense of municipalities on the brink of collapse / Fellow Germans! Bavarian compatriots! / Now they suddenly want to make it all right again, and even better! Who wouldn't laugh at that? Four, eight, even ten years they've been in power without interruption, the gentlemen of the Bavarian People's Party! Plenty of time to have accomplished something. But our patience has run out! / So we call upon you, fellow citizens, give your vote on April 24th to the men who don't stand before you with hypocritical promises for individual professions, estates, and classes, but those who have stood before you for about 10 years as fearless fighters for German freedom, disregarding deprivation, mockery, scorn, and persecution, the men and comrades of Adolf Hitler, the National Socialists on List 5 / Hitler Movement."
