30.8" blade. 36" overall with scabbard and hilt. Straight single edged spearpoint blade mounting 1796 pattern iron hilt with leather wrapped grip bound in wire. Blade etched with {US Eagle} below fifteen stars on right side followed by foliate designs and A.W. Spies retailer mark. Left blade features a {Panoply of Arms} with olive branches and an eight-point star. Item comes in a nickel plated brass brazed seam iron scabbard with two hanging loops and stud. 

Good. Blade with some flecked oxidation and mottling overall, scratches, and abrasions. Hilt shows some light pitting on guard and knuckle bow, along with some light nicks. Scabbard finish shows dark brown mottling forming overall. Hilt remains tight with some light scratches to the wood.
