Autograph document by Abraham Lincoln. Peoria County, Illinois, 29 May 1844. 2 pages, folio. Docketed to verso.

A rare document completed entirely in Abraham Lincoln's distinctive hand from his early law career. Concerning a case in Peoria County, the document was penned by Lincoln when he was traveling the Eighth Judicial Circuit while legal partners with Stephen Logan.

Documents from Lincoln's early legal career are scarce, and those in his hand even more so.
