Mirisch Pictures, 1968. Italian 2 Foglio "West Side Story," designed by Silvano "Nano" Campeggi (Italian, 1923 - 2018) for the re-release of the 1961 classic musical. Featuring Natalie Wood as Maria dancing and the climactic knife fight scene with George Chakiris and Russ Tamblyn as Bernardo and Riff against a color-blocked background highlighting other key scenes. Lithographed by P. Ragiono, Rome, Italy, with imprint to the lower right. 39 x 55 in., framed to 41 x 57 in.
