United Artists, 1967. First release, pre-awards International Style A of "The Graduate" featuring Dustin Hoffman as Benjamin Braddock standing beside a woman's leg, identified not to costar Anne Bancroft, but rather Linda Gray, then a studio model. Copyright and printing details printed to the lower left margin. Approx. 26 1/2 x 39 in., framed to 29 x 41 3/4 in.

Though the film officially premiered in December 1967, it was not widely released until 1968. This poster dates from the initial release, before the Academy Awards were held, where "The Graduate" received seven nominations and won for Best Director, Mike Nichols. Afterwards, the poster was redesigned in April 1968 to reflect the film's accolades. The inclusion of the United Artists logo, rather than that of American distributor Embassy Pictures, suggests that this poster was printed in the United States for use in international theaters, as United Artists distributed the film outside of the country.
