Known for his captivating performances both on stage and onscreen, Peter O'Toole's (1931-2013) groundbreaking performance in the titular role of T.E. Lawrence in Lawrence of Arabia became one of the highlights of his expansive career. This striking film still from the aforementioned role captures the intensity of O'Toole's performance, which would land him his first of eight Best Actor Oscar nominations. O'Toole would finally be presented an Honorary Award Oscar for his illustrious career in 2003.
