Printed by L. & H. Verstegen, Brussels, Belgium, with imprint to the lower right margin and tax stamp along the upper edge of the sheet. 14 1/8 x 20 3/4 in., framed to 15 x 21 5/8 in. 

While Pinocchio premiered in the United States in 1940, World War II and the subsequent German occupation delayed its theatrical distribution across most of Europe, as Walt Disney films were banned by the Nazis. Once the War ended, RKO Radio Pictures launched a massive rollout to bring their films to European audiences, including the release of Pinocchio in 1946. Due to the ongoing scarcity and rationing of paper in post-war Europe, printing runs for cinematic posters remained limited for many years.
