Original US window card for Fritz Lang’s paranoia-steeped film noir Ministry of Fear, adapted from Graham Greene’s 1943 wartime spy novel. The poster features striking shadowy art with ominous silhouetted hands looming over Ray Milland as Stephen Neale - a man newly released from an asylum who accidentally stumbles into a clandestine Nazi spy ring in WWII London - alongside Marjorie Reynolds as Carla Hilfe. Directed by Lang during his prime American noir period (between Man Hunt and The Woman in the Window), the thriller is famed for its atmospheric expressionist lighting and tense set pieces involving séances and stolen microfilms.

Printed on heavy cardstock for display in local storefronts, this example retains its blank top margin meant for venue showtimes, and bears National Screen Service designation 44/113 at the lower right corner. 

Very Good. Framed under glass and unexamined out of frame. Sheet retains an blank upper imprint header with light uniform toning across the field and faint edge wear, displaying strong color and crisp contrast throughout the imagery.
