1. Ninth plate tintype portrait. Patriotic brass mat and full thermoplastic case.

Civil War soldier holding his leather gauntlets. A clean image featuring a young infantryman dressed in his issue 4-button sack coat. The plate is framed with an attractive brass mat with a patriotic motif.

2. Sixth plate daguerreotype. Full thermoplastic case.

A soldier, probably European, holding a small child. Housed in a minty thermoplastic case with a pleasing geometric design.

3. Sixth plate ambrotype. Full thermoplastic case of a young man wearing a large cravat and what appear to be tartan pants. A simple but well-executed portrait. The ambrotype is housed in a minty brown thermoplastic case.

4. Sixth plate tintype. Half leatherette case.

A sharp image of a European soldier.

5. Sixth plate tintype. Full leatherette case.

A seated Union artilleryman. Brass details pinned to the hat that rests on the photographer's table indicate that the soldier belonged to battery C of a state's 4th regiment of artillery.
