Oz was a significant underground magazine consistently featuring innovative and colorful art - a rarity among newspapers and magazines of the era. Originally published in Sydney, Australia, by Richard Neville in 1963, he launched a parallel version of Oz in London in 1967. In both countries, the editors were prosecuted several times on charges of obscenity.
