CT-182. 10 May 1775 Connecticut 40 Shilling note. Printed New London, Connecticut: Timothy Green II, May 1775.  Serial no. 6526. Green's imprint to verso. Signed by Benjamin Payne, George Wyllys, and Elisha Williams. 2 3/4 x 3 9/16 in. 

 

Attractive Revolutionary War-era uncancelled Connecticut note printed by Timothy Green II, of the notable family of printers. This note is the highest denomination of the 10 May 1775 issue.
