A rare early almanac published by physician Nathaniel Ames (1704-1764). A prolific publisher, Ames printed his first almanac in 1725 when he was only 17. This is an early extant example of his popular almanacs.
Evans notes two states with varying calculations at the bottom of March's calendar page. This copy is the latter recorded by Evans, listing the moon's rising and setting on March 30th as "00 00" and for March 31 as "01 02".
