.44 caliber. 8" barrel. SN: 27521. Heavily oxidized metal, smooth one-piece walnut grip. Single action percussion revolver with hammer nose notch rear sight, fixed blade front sight and a toggle link loading lever. Standard Starr markings are weak, frame serial number weak. Frame and cylinder numbers match. The very weak outline of a cartouche is present on the left of the grip. {ANTIQUE}

Fair. Bore rusty with pitting and weak rifling. Metal heavily oxidized with scattered surface rust and a mottled dark brown patina. Markings weak. Not mechanically functional, trigger appears to be an old replacement with a repair. Grip with moderate wear and scattered bumps, dings and mars.
