Włodzimierz Krzyżanowski (1824–1887) was a Polish-born military officer who became a brigadier general in the Union Army during the American Civil War. A veteran of European revolutionary movements, he emigrated to the United States in 1849 and settled in New York. During the war, he commanded the 58th New York Infantry, also known as the Polish Legion, and later led a brigade in the Army of the Potomac, participating in major engagements including Gettysburg. After the war, he served in various federal administrative posts, including work with the U.S. Treasury Department.
