1. Ninth plate studio bust portrait tintype of a soldier in a gray uniform. N.p., ca. 1860s. Full leatherette case. 

2. Ninth plate studio bust portrait tintype of a Union soldier. N.p., ca. 1860s. Separated full leatherette case. Gilding to soldier's buttons and kepi buckle. 

3. Sixth plate seated portrait ambrotype of Union soldier George Rieflin. [Indiana], 1861-1864. Full leatherette case. Gilding to his buttons and buckles. 

Typed note behind image reads: "GEORGE RIEFLIN / Enlisted at age 20 in the Union Army, Indiana Infantry, Evansville, Indiana. (Not drafted). Served 1861-64. Wounded, lost middle finger in action, and returned to Evansville. Died, age 24 years, of dysentery. 

4. Sixth plate seated portrait tintype of a soldier. N.p., ca. 1860s. Half leatherette case. 

5. Quarter plate full-length portrait tintype of a soldier holding a rifle with a bayonet. N.p., ca. 1860s. Uncased, in brass mat. Some tinting to buckles.
