A dramatic depiction of the Battle of Chickamauga showing the breakthrough of General Longstreet's troops near the Brotherton House during the Army of Tennessee's greatest victory. An officer near center bellows commands to his fellow soldiers. Confederate men rush forward to the Union men in disarray near a small cabin. A Hardee Battle Flag waves above the charging Confederates with Longstreet on horseback, urging his men forward with his hat in his hand.

Rick Reeves (b. 1959) of Tampa, Florida, is a master of American military paintings, devoting exceptional detail to the uniforms, flags, and landscapes. His paintings reveal a deep battlefield knowledge and sensitivity to the pivotal moments of war.

A beautiful addition to any Western Theater collection.
