54-Bore (.442 caliber). 5.75" octagonal barrel. SN: 24280R, Beaumont registration number B8655. Blued finish, fire blued small parts, bright hammer, checkered one piece walnut grip. Double action percussion revolver with unfluted five-chambered cylinder, frame mounted sliding safety on obverse, Kerr's patent loading lever on left of barrel, fixed notch rear sight and dovetailed blade front sight. Produced by the London Armoury Company and marked with the "LAC" in a shield trade mark on the lower right of the frame and engraved "LONDON ARMOURY" on the top strap. The serial number places the gun within the range of known Confederate acquisitions during the American Civil War with production likely circa 1858-1859 around the time (or slightly after) Adams left the London Armoury Company to work on his own. The revolver was formerly in the collection of noted Country Music star Hank Williams Jr and was sold from that collection by Rafael Eledge of Shiloh Relics, with the original Shiloh Relics sales tag still attached to the gun. {ANTIQUE}

Very Fine. Bore is mostly bright with some scattered oxidation and discoloration and strong rifling. The metal retains much of the original blued finish with moderate amounts of thinning and wear, some surface scratches and scattered scuffs. The loading lever and safety retain much of their thinning and fading fire blued finish. Markings remain clear and legible. Mechanically functional action. Grip fine with crisp checkering and some scattered bumps, dings and mars.
