A Voice from the Army. [Pennsylvania], [1863]. Framed.
A wartime pro-Lincoln broadside that publishes a letter from Robert Johnson Co. E of the 32nd Pennsylvania Infantry, where he sets forth "our views of the Copperheads and their Candidates...we take no part with the party that opposes the Administration, and a vigorous prosecution of the War." The letter, written by "every man in the company, except two" is then signed in type by Johnson, his lieutenants, and dozens of privates.
