A large collection of thirty-two (32) Confederate veteran reunion medals, ribbons, pinbacks, and lapel pins. Items include: 

 

1. Camp U.C.V. printed ribbon with celluloid badge. 2 13/16 x 7 3/8 in.

 

White silk ribbon printed in green: "G.C. / Camp U.C.V. / No. 443, C.S.A. / Radford, VA." With a celluloid badge featuring a portrait of Robert E. Lee. With a metal suspension bar and silver bullion tassel. Significant reinforcement to reverse.

 

2. [1896] Confederate Houston brass medal. Diam. 1 1/2 in.

 

Obverse with a star and laurels with the legend "Houston / Texas." Reverse shows Second National "Stainless Banner" Confederate flag. 

 

3. 1896 Confederate Houston 2-piece brass badge. Overall 1 3/4 x 1 1/8 in. Disc diam. 1 1/2 in. 

 

Medal features Second National "Stainless Banner" Confederate flag. With legend "1896 / Richmond Va." that was added after minting, not appearing in other known examples. Reverse shows a star and laurels with the legend "Houston / Texas." 

 

4. 1896 U.C.V. Richmond 6th Reunion and Jefferson Davis Monument Cornerstone Laying two-piece brass badge. Overall 1 1/2 x 2 1/2 in.

 

"Souvenir" suspension with medal featuring the Jefferson Davis Monument at center with the legend "Reunion / United Confederate Veterans ' Cor. Stone Laying Jeff. Davis Monument / Richmond, VA. / June 30." 

 

5. 1902 U.C.V. Dallas 12th Reunion celluloid badge. Diam. 1 3/4 in.

 

Featuring the Texas state seal, a portrait of Robert E. Lee, and a bald eagle. Surrounded by the legend "Confederate Reunion April 22-24, 1902 / Dallas Texas."

 

6. 1903 U.C.V. New Orleans 13th Reunion 2-piece brass and enamel badge. Overall 1 5/16 x 2 1/4 in.

 

"Souvenir" suspension bar with a spread-winged eagle. Medal features enameled American and Confederate battle flag with the legend "United Confederate / Veteran's Reunion / May 7-9 / 1903 / New Orleans." 

 

7. 1906 U.C.V. New Orleans 13th Reunion cast brass disc. Diam. 3/4 in. 

 

Obverse reads: "Reunion / New Orleans / 1906". Reverse with Third National Confederate Flag. 

 

8. 1906 U.C.V. New Orleans 16th Reunion enameled lapel pin. Diam. 13/16 in.

 

With UCV logo, enameled Confederate Third National and Battle flags flanking a portrait of Nathan Bedford Forrest. With perimeter legend on white enameled ground: "61 U.C.V. 65 / New Orleans April 25, 1906." 

 

9. Two (2) 1906 U.C.V. New Orleans 16th Reunion 2-piece gilt-brass badges. Each overall 1 1/2 x 2 7/16 in. 

 

"61 / 65 / Veteran" suspension bar; the drop reads "61 / U.C.V. / 65 / New Orleans, April 25, 1906." Center features the same motif as No. 8. 

 

10. 1910 North Carolina State Reunion color-printed ribbon. 1 7/8 x 3 5/8 in.

 

The ribbon features Confederate battle and First National flags, the Virginia and North Carolina state seals, and martial motifs with the legend "North Carolina  State Reunion / UCV / Norfolk, VA. / September 6-7 / 1910."

 

11. 1912 U.C.V. Macon 22nd Reunion two-piece enamel and bronze badge. Newark, NJ: Whitehead & Hoag, 1912. Overall 1 3/4 x 2 7/8 in. Disc diam. 1 1/2 in. 

 

This example features a coppery patina. Suspension bar features Macon City Hall flanked by enameled Confederate battle flags and the legend "May 7 -8, 1912 / 22nd UCV Reunion / Macon / GA." The drop features Lee & Jackson on horseback with the legend: "Last Meeting of Lee and Jackson." 

 

12. 1912 U.C.V. Macon 22nd Reunion two-piece enamel and bronze badge. Newark, NJ: Whitehead & Hoag, 1912. Overall 1 9/16 x 2 3/4 in., disc diam. 1 7/16 in. 

 

Nearly identical to No. 11, except with a pewter-like patina and slightly smaller 

 

13. 1912 U.C.V. Macon 22nd Reunion 2-piece gilt brass & enamel badge with red & white ribbon. Overall 1 9/16 x 3 3/4 in. 

 

"Souvenir" suspension bar with drop reading: "Reunion / United / Confederate / Veterans / Macon, Ga. / 1912" surrounding an enameled Confederate battle flag.

 

14. 1913 New York Gettysburg 50th Anniversary reunion 2-piece bronze badge. Newark, NJ: Whitehead & Hoag, 1913. Overall 1 7/16 x 2 13/16 in. 

 

Suspension bar features two soldiers reconciling with the legend "1863 / 1913 / New York-Gettysburg". The lower medal features a jugate portrait of Generals George Meade and Robert E. Lee, captioned "Meade / Lee" surrounded by martial motifs. 

 

15. 1913 New York Gettysburg 50th Anniversary reunion drop only. 1 3/8 x 1 1/2 in. Design identical to No. 14. 

 

16. 1915 U.C.V. Richmond 25th Reunion celluloid and metal pinback with gilt-printed ribbon. Overall approx. 1 7/16 x 4 3/4 in. Pinback diam. 1 7/16 in. 

 

Pinback reads "Re-Union" with portraits of the personification of Liberty and Robert E. Lee and Confederate Second National and Battle flags. Red ribbon gilt printed: "U.C.V. Reunion / Richmond, VA. / May 29th, June 4th, 1915."

 

17. 1917 U.C.V. 27th Washington, D.C. Reunion brass badge. 1 1/4 X 1 13/16 in. 

 

Featuring a Federal shield and spread-winged eagle, the main vignette features the Federal Capitol. With the legend "We Answered the Call in 61 / We'll Go again if Needed / Washington / D.C. 1917 / UCV / 27th Annual Reunion." 

 

18. 1918 Tulsa 28th Reunion celluloid pinback. Atlanta: W.E. Flooding Mfr. Marker's mark to reverse. Diam. 1 1/4 in.

 

With printed 3rd National Flag and Confederate battle flag crossed over equestrian portrait of General Gordon. With printed legend: "Tulsa Reunion 1918 / Gen. John B. Gordon." 

 

19. 1919 U.C.V. Atlanta 29th Reunion brass badge mounted as a watch fob. Overall length 14 7/8 in. Medal 1 1/4 x 1 7/16 in. 

 

Featuring the Atlanta skyline, an equestrian statue, and a split Federal & Confederate shield. The legend reads "United Confederate Veterans / 29th Reunion Atlanta 1919".

 

20. 1920 U.C.V. Houston 30th Reunion brass badge. 1 1/2 x 1 9/16 in.

 

Features a spread-winged eagle with a portrait flanked by the American and Confederate battle flags. Legend reads: "United Confederate Veterans / 1920 / 30th Reunion Houston, Texas." 

 

21. 1924 Robert E. Lee Memphis 34th Reunion fundraising slip. [Nashville, TN]: Keelin Printing Company, 1924. 2 x 3 5/16 in. 

 

Recto features a portrait of Robert E. Lee and a short poem. Verso reads "These tags are donated to help the Veterans attend their reunion at Memphis, Tenn., June 4-5-6-7, 1924." 

 

22. 1926 U.C.V. Birmingham 36th Reunion 2-piece brass and enamel badge. Newark, NJ: Whitehead & Hoag, 1926. Overall 1 1/2 x 2 1/8 in. 

 

"U.C.V." suspension bar; medal features an enameled Confederate battle flag and a cavalry scene. Legend reads "36th Reunion / 1926 /  Birmingham".

 

23. 1926 U.C.V. Birmingham 36th Reunion 2-piece gilt brass badge. Overall 1 5/8 x 2 1/4 in. 

 

"Souvenir" suspension bar; medal features a profile bust portrait of Robert E. Lee captioned "Gen. R.E. Lee" with the legend "United Confederate Veterans Reunion / May 18-21 / 1926 / Birmingham, Ala."

 

24. 1927 Stone Mountain Living Veterans Roll brass medal. [Newark, NJ]: Whitehead and Hoag, 1927. Hallmark to reverse. Diam. 1 1/4 in. 

 

Obverse depicts the bas relief sculpture of Robert E. Lee, Jefferson Davis, and Stonewall Jackson at Stone Mountain with the legend: "Living Veterans' Roll / Stone Mountain / Confederate / Memorial." Reverse shows an eternal flame with the legend: "Entrance to Memorial Hall / U.C.V. / 1927."

 

25. circa 1927 Stone Mountain Children's Founders Roll brass medal. 1 1/4 x 1 1/4

 

Stone Mountain bas relief to obverse, reverse reads "Children's / Founders Roll / Commemorating / The Heroism of / The People of the / Confederacy." 

 

26. 1935 U.C.V. Amarillo 45th Reunion brass badge. 1 1/8 x 1 3/4 in.

 

 Featuring an equestrian monument of Stonewall Jackson with the legend "UCV / 45th Annual Reunion." 

 

27. 1937 U.C.V. Jackson 47th Reunion celluloid badge with 1932 Richmond 42nd printed ribbon. Overall 1 1/4 x 4 5/8 in. Disc diam. 1 1/4 in. 

 

Pinback features portrait of Jefferson Davis with the printed legend "President Jefferson Davis" with a printed sticker affixed which reads "Jackson, Miss. / 1937." Printed ribbon reads: "Confederate Reunion / June 21-24, 1932 / Richmond, Virginia." 

 

28. 1938 Battle of Gettysburg 75th Anniversary. Celluloid badge with 3 ribbons and 5 plastic animal charms. Overall 2 1/2 x 4 3/16 in. 

 

Celluloid badge showing a Union and Confederate soldier with their respective flags shaking hands on the battlefield. With the legend "75th Anniversary / 1863-1938 / Battle of Gettysburg." 

 

29. 1938 Blue and Gray Gettysburg Reunion brass medal. Diam. 1 1/4 in. 

 

Notably, this ribbon is from the last Blue and Gray Reunion. Obverse shows portraits of two bearded veterans, Union & Confederate. with the legend "Gettysburg / Blue and Gray Reunion / 1863 / 1938." Reverse shows a the Eternal Light Peace Memorial with the legend "75th Anniversary / In Commemoration / of the Battle of / Gettysburg / Eternal Light / Peace Memorial." 

 

30. "Confederate" brass suspension bar. 1 13/16 x 2 1/4 in.

 

31. "Rally Day" celluloid pinback. Diam. 3/4 in.

 

Features the American and Third National Confederate flags with the legend "Rally Day."
