.50cal 2nd Model Maynard Carbine in good condition. Strong inspector's marks on stock, barrel and frame. SN 9015. Blue and case hardened finish. "Edward Maynard / Patentee / May 27, 1851 / Dec 5 1859" & "Manufactured By / MASS. ARMS CO / Chicopee Falls". Barrel 20 in. Overall 36 3/4 in.

Also known as the "Model 1863" Made between 1863-1865 about 20,202 were made.
