A group of two (2) "CS" belt buckles. Items include:
1. Excavated oval CS "Breckinridge-style" belt buckle. Die-stamped brass. Hooks missing. 3 7/16 x 2 1/4 in. Mullinax 127.
2. Excavated oval "egg-shaped" CS belt buckle. Stamped brass, lead-filled. Hooks missi 3 1/2 x 2 1/8 in. Kerksis 273-274; Mullinax 116-119.
Specimens of the "egg-shaped" buckles almost exclusively come from Virginia sites.
