.450 CF.4.5" round barrel. SN: 13456. Blued finish, smooth one-piece ivory grip. Double action solid frame revolver with unfluted six-chambered cylinder, loading gate, pivoting ejector rod stored in the center of the arbor pin, topstrap groove rear sight, blade front sight and lanyard ring in butt. Left of frame with Webley's Patent cartouche, their winged bullet logo and serial number. Topstrap engraved "P. The revolver is decorated with classic English banknotes scroll engraving covering most of the frame, with some areas of the cylinder engraved as well. A nearly identical example, that is nickeled rather than blued and with a Liddle & Kaeding, San Francisco retailer's mark and the same type of smooth ivory grip is pictured in Webley Solid Frame Revolvers, Models RIC, MP and No. 5 by Black, Davis, & Michaud on page 43. That gun is #13289 only 167 numbers from this revolver. {ANTIQUE}
Good to Very Good. Bore fair to good with moderate oxidation and some pitting with visible rifling. Metal with traces of blue in protected areas with a mostly dull pewter patina with some scattered minor surface oxidation and age discoloration. Markings and engraving remain clear and crisp. Mechanically functional action. Grip good with some wear and nice rich cream patina.
