Mounted to approx. 28 1/4 x 40 7/8 in.
An antisemitic propaganda poster issued by the Ébredő Magyarok Egyesülete [Association of Awakening Hungarians], a far-right "racial protection" organization founded in November 1918. Active in politics, the group published its own newspaper, Ébredő Magyarország. Here, they advertise a meeting on Sunday 30 November 1919, to discuss "The Jewish Question." The upper vignette depicts Jesus driving out the (Jewish) money changers. Below the text, a Hungarian war veteran looks forlornly at a Christian graveyard.
