Short recoil operated striker action autoloading pistol with grip safety mechanism. Toggle link struck with the Swiss {Cross in Shield} marking while barrel shows BP monogram mark for Waffenfabrik Bern. Grips with standard molded markings including FW mark and MA/1949 to left panel and MA/1493 to right. Inspection mark to rear frame. Safety lever, magazine release, and takedown levers are all smooth, consistent with later manufacture. Scattered Swiss {Cross} proofs on major parts. Serial numbers match. Magazine is nickel plated with Waffenfabrik Bern mark and a black Bakelite spring plug. {C&R}

Very Good. Bore is Minty with sharp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows some thinning at muzzle, spots and streaks on upper slide and barrel, and some scratches on the gripstraps and safety. Grips have some light abrasions and faint handling marks. Functions when cycled by hand.
