Long stroke piston driven tilting bolt semi-automatic rifle built using original German parts. Right receiver marked by rebuilder SEMI-AUTO MP44/C.A. 1974. Receiver has been rewelded and shows the original serial number to left side, a date mark of 44, MP43 model below charging handle port, and S/F safety markings on new lower. Weak Waffenamt stamp to left receiver. Further Waffenamt marks include {Eagle/28} on gas block, {Eagle/WaA245} on lower, and {Eagle/37} on barrel. Stock and rear receiver cap are serialized and do not match receiver. Lacks magazine. {FFL}

Good. Bore is dirty with firing residues that may clean to Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows brown patina forming on barrel, scattered abrasions, scratches, and nicks on the edges. Some roughness below rewelds. Stock has handling wear and dents. Grip screw fits proud on the right panel, and can make a tight grasp uncomfortable. Action functions when cycled by hand.
