David Stone Miller was the art director for the United States Office of War Information, which sought to create a unified ideology to mobilize home-front support for the war. The poster here shows a soldier grasping their rifle flanked by the hands of two workers hoisting wrenches with the legend: "Strong in the strength of the Lord we who fight in the people's cause will never stop until that cause is won."
