7.62x25mm. 4.6" barrel. SN: Cyrillic D0559. Blued metal arsenal refinish with polished barrel mounting vertically serrated black Bakelite grips with Star logos surrounded by CCCP initials. Short recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by detachable single stack magazines. Item mounts fixed front blade and drift adjustable rear notch sights with lanyard loop to left butt and to magazine floorplate. Left frame struck with the {Star} Tula factory mark followed by a date of 1939. Further {Star} stamps to slide stop, trigger, bushing, recoil spring guide, fire control group, and slide. Cocking serrations are of the pre-47 pattern, and the left frame has never been cut for an import safety. No importer markings visible. Serial numbers and dates match on the slide, frame, barrel, and fire control group. Magazine does not match and is numbered D0629. Circled K marking to right frame most likely a repair depot mark. Slide with distinct dip blue line at mid length. Frame with a consistent deep blue likely dip blued during repair at some point. Scarce example of a high condition Tokarev that was never import marked or fitted with the undesirable import required safety lever. {C&R}

Very Good as arsenal refinished. Bore is dirty with some residues that may clean to Bright or better with crisp rifling throughout. Metal finish shows edgewear overall with finish thinning on the upper and rounded edges of the slide, and scattered light scratches overall. Some brown flecking to upper frame, and to upper slide. Barrel shows old grease residues with some spots of gray and brown patina. Grips retain crisp details. Mechanically functional when cycled by hand.
