.45 Colt. 5.5" barrel. SN: 100502. Blued metal refinish overall with casehardened hammer and trigger mounting replaced bordered checkered walnut Smith & Wesson medallion grips. Double action six-shot hand ejector revolver mounting fixed half moon front blade and topstrap rear notch sights, and a pinned barrel on a five screw frame. Top of the barrel struck with two-line address and patent mark starting SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS. U.S.A. followed by patent dates ranging from 1901 to 1909. Left barrel marked S.&W. D.A. 45. Interior frame shows an {Eaglehead/S25} US Army inspection stamp with all other markings removed by an aggressive polish and refinish. Lanyard loop port to butt has been filled in. No property mark visible below barrel. Serial number matches on the frame and barrel, but the mounted replacement cylinder is non numbered with the rear face polished.  Comes with its original cylinder showing a matching serial number and an {Eaglehead} stamp, along with a matching star extractor. {C&R}

Good as Refinished. Bore is dirty with residues and dust that may clean to Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Metal refinish shows some scratches on cylinder, a turn ring, and some scattered light scratches. Hammer and trigger primarily mottled gray patina. Grips with some handling wear and light dents. Action shows good timing.
