9mm Para. 5" barrel. SN: 1050. Blued metal finish with polished bolt and small parts mounting two piece checkered wood stocks, fixed rear notch and front blade sights. Short recoil operated single action autoloading pistol fed by an internal magazine charged with stripper clips. Left slide struck with the 08 marking indicating it was rechambered to 9mm Luger, with the barrels being replaced in many instances. Marked with an S for safe at rear slide. Left frame shows {Eagle/N} and {Circle in Triangle} marking. Right frame struck with the {Eagle L} mark indicating it was accepted for police service. Barrel shows a further {Eagle/N} proof. Serial numbers match on slide, barrel, and frame. The recesses for the locking lugs on the interior slide appear to have been rebuilt, and show a rough finish. Slide itself likely reblued and rebuilt at some point. {C&R}

Fair to Good. Bore is Very Bright with crisp rifling throughout. Blued finish on slide with some pitting and surface roughness that has been finished over. Finish on frame thinning with brown flecking. Scratches scattered overall. Grips have some handling wear and a chip to the left panel below the screw. Needs mechanical attention. Action binds up during cycling by hand with the barrel becoming stuck and the locking lugs failing to cam out of their recesses, possibly due to ill fitting when the 9mm barrel was installed.
